CURATING

In 2008 Ulvin curated an exhibition with the Norwegian photo-journalist Johan Brun for the Buskerud County Municipality.

In 2007 she curated Vestlandsutstillingen, a regional group exhibition which each year tours cities in the western part of Norway. In 2007 the exhibition was shown at Førdehuset, (Førde), TOU Scene (Stavanger), Haugesund Billedgalleri, Kunstmuseet KUBE (Ålesund), and Hordaland Kunstsenter (Bergen).

In 2003 through 2006 she was a board member of Young Artist Association (UKS), the organization for professional Norwegian artists, and collaborated with Hjørdis Kurås initiating the concept UTKANTEN (outskirts) - initiative for flexibility at the organizations gallery, Oslo, focusing on projects related to video, sound and performance.

She curated the videofestival JOHN SKIES OR SALLY SWIMS, presenting 50 video artists from Norway and San Francisco. Experts was later shown at Bergen Kunsthall and Videotage, Hong Kong.
She also curated the exhibition UKS Portfolio Launch and NORWYDEO - an exhange of Norwegian video art, which in addition to UKS, also was shown at Artist Television Access in San Fransisco og Rex in Belgrade. This was a collaboration with the fine artists Bull. Miletic. The projects at UKS was a collaboration with the Norwegian artist Hjørdis Kurås.
